Better Base Solutions did an outstanding job of replacing the rotted subfloor in our home. We have a pier and beam foundation and had noticed significant sagging and soft spots in our kitchen and living room. Curtis did an initial inspection and provided a repair bid promptly. His diagnosis and scope of work closely matched an engineer’s assessment of our problem. When the crew arrived, Curtis, Nate, Dalton and another young man worked diligently to remove all the damaged insulation from under our house. Once inside, they ripped out two layers of old flooring and the rotted subfloor. I was extremely impressed at the care they took to remove and reinstall a very large built in bookcase. It took a great deal of effort and maneuvering to move the bookcase without damaging it. The team was always respectful and professional, willing to help with anything we needed to get the job done. I would use Better Base Solutions again if the need arose and highly recommend them to anyone needing foundation work.
Concrete Lifting in Junction, TX
Better Base Solutions provides concrete lifting in Junction and across the Texas Hill Country to restore settled slabs safely and affordably.
Expert Concrete Lifting in Junction, TX
Sunken or uneven concrete is a common problem in Junction and throughout the surrounding Hill Country. The region's soil shifts between wet and dry seasons, creating voids beneath slabs that cause driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, and pool decks to sink and tilt. Concrete lifting corrects that movement by filling those voids and raising the slab back to its original grade, without tearing out and replacing the existing concrete. At Better Base Solutions, we walk you through exactly what is happening under your slab and why lifting is or is not the right call for your situation. We are locally owned and operated, and we do not sell work that is not needed. If a slab can be lifted, we will show you how the process works before we start. If it cannot, we will tell you that too. Homeowners across Junction, Kerrville, Llano, Marble Falls, and the wider service area trust us to give them a straight answer and a practical fix. Contact us to schedule a concrete lifting assessment.

Concrete Lifting FAQ
Common questions about concrete lifting in Junction, TX.
A slab is a good candidate for lifting when the concrete itself is structurally sound but has sunk due to soil voids beneath it. We inspect the slab in person and tell you honestly whether lifting will work or whether replacement is the better path.
We lift driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, pool decks, and other flatwork slabs across Junction and the surrounding Hill Country. If the slab is in reasonable structural condition and has settled due to soil movement, it is typically a candidate for lifting.
Lifting fills the voids that caused the slab to sink, which reduces the likelihood of the same section settling again. Soil conditions across the Hill Country can shift over time, so no repair eliminates all future movement, but addressing the void is the most direct way to stabilize the slab.
Yes, lifting works on the existing slab without jackhammering, hauling debris, or pouring new concrete. The surface disturbance is minimal compared to a full tear-out and replacement.
We do not sell work that is not needed, and that applies directly to concrete lifting in Llano, Georgetown, and every other area we serve. If your slab does not need lifting, we will tell you that during the assessment.
Yes, explaining the process to our clients is a core part of how we work across Junction and the wider service area. We walk you through what is happening beneath the slab and what the lifting process will do before any work begins.
