Better Base Solutions did an outstanding job of replacing the rotted subfloor in our home. We have a pier and beam foundation and had noticed significant sagging and soft spots in our kitchen and living room. Curtis did an initial inspection and provided a repair bid promptly. His diagnosis and scope of work closely matched an engineer’s assessment of our problem. When the crew arrived, Curtis, Nate, Dalton and another young man worked diligently to remove all the damaged insulation from under our house. Once inside, they ripped out two layers of old flooring and the rotted subfloor. I was extremely impressed at the care they took to remove and reinstall a very large built in bookcase. It took a great deal of effort and maneuvering to move the bookcase without damaging it. The team was always respectful and professional, willing to help with anything we needed to get the job done. I would use Better Base Solutions again if the need arose and highly recommend them to anyone needing foundation work.

Expert Concrete Repair in Junction, TX
Cracked, spalled, or deteriorating concrete is a common problem for homeowners across Junction and the Texas Hill Country. The region's rocky terrain, shifting soil, and wide temperature swings put constant stress on slabs, sidewalks, steps, and structural surfaces. Over time, small cracks let water in. That water widens the crack, weakens the base beneath, and turns a minor fix into a much larger problem. At Better Base Solutions, we assess what is actually wrong before any work begins. We look at the crack type, the surface condition, and what is happening beneath the slab. Then we explain exactly what we found and what repair makes sense for your situation. We are locally owned and operated, and we do not sell work that is not needed. If a repair will hold, we say so. If a section needs more attention, we tell you why. Homeowners in Junction, Kerrville, Mason, Llano, and across the Hill Country trust us to give them a straight answer and do the job right.
