Better Base Solutions did an outstanding job of replacing the rotted subfloor in our home. We have a pier and beam foundation and had noticed significant sagging and soft spots in our kitchen and living room. Curtis did an initial inspection and provided a repair bid promptly. His diagnosis and scope of work closely matched an engineer’s assessment of our problem. When the crew arrived, Curtis, Nate, Dalton and another young man worked diligently to remove all the damaged insulation from under our house. Once inside, they ripped out two layers of old flooring and the rotted subfloor. I was extremely impressed at the care they took to remove and reinstall a very large built in bookcase. It took a great deal of effort and maneuvering to move the bookcase without damaging it. The team was always respectful and professional, willing to help with anything we needed to get the job done. I would use Better Base Solutions again if the need arose and highly recommend them to anyone needing foundation work.

Expert Structural Repair in Junction, TX
Structural repair addresses damage to the load-bearing parts of your home, including beams, joists, walls, and the connections that hold them together. When these elements shift or weaken, you may see sticking doors, diagonal cracks near window corners, sloping floors, or gaps where walls meet the ceiling. In the Hill Country and across the Edwards Plateau, the mix of shallow limestone bedrock and pockets of reactive clay soil puts homes under real stress. Wet seasons swell the soil. Dry summers shrink it. That repeated cycle pushes and pulls your structure in ways it was not built to handle. At Better Base Solutions, we walk you through exactly what we find and why it matters. We only recommend work that your home actually needs. Nothing more. We serve homeowners in Junction, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Mason, Llano, Burnet, Lampasas, and across the region. If something looks wrong with your home's structure, call us and we will explain what is happening before any work begins.
