Better Base Solutions did an outstanding job of replacing the rotted subfloor in our home. We have a pier and beam foundation and had noticed significant sagging and soft spots in our kitchen and living room. Curtis did an initial inspection and provided a repair bid promptly. His diagnosis and scope of work closely matched an engineer’s assessment of our problem. When the crew arrived, Curtis, Nate, Dalton and another young man worked diligently to remove all the damaged insulation from under our house. Once inside, they ripped out two layers of old flooring and the rotted subfloor. I was extremely impressed at the care they took to remove and reinstall a very large built in bookcase. It took a great deal of effort and maneuvering to move the bookcase without damaging it. The team was always respectful and professional, willing to help with anything we needed to get the job done. I would use Better Base Solutions again if the need arose and highly recommend them to anyone needing foundation work.
Foundation Leveling in Junction, TX
Better Base Solutions provides foundation leveling for homes across Junction and the Texas Hill Country.
Expert Foundation Leveling in Junction, TX
Foundation leveling brings a shifted or uneven foundation back to a stable, uniform plane. Homes across Junction, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and the surrounding Hill Country face a specific challenge: the soil here shifts with the seasons. Clay-rich ground swells when rains arrive and contracts hard during dry summers. That constant movement pushes and pulls on foundations, causing them to settle unevenly over time. Left alone, an unlevel foundation puts stress on walls, floors, and door frames throughout the home. At Better Base Solutions, we walk you through exactly what is happening beneath your home before any work begins. We explain what we find, what it means, and what actually needs to be done. We are locally owned and operated, so we know this terrain. We also will not recommend work your home does not need. If you are seeing sloping floors, sticking doors, or diagonal cracks near windows, call us to get a clear picture of what is going on.
What's included
